The estate Kollwitzstraße 14 is situated at Senefelder Platz in the district Prenzlauer berg. Originally this estate was covered with buildings. Partially, there was a 6 storey residential building with a couple close roof on this site in the 50s. The existing gap between buildings was filled with a residential building of studios and the old "Straßenfluchten" were rebuilt.The amply gap between the old and new buildings openings up for vertical development. Terraces are fitted bridge-like in the upper storeys. These terraces are exclusively installed in the upper storeys to grant a free view through the interior area of the backyard.
